Remembering Play

$80.00

Instructor: Tara Grainger, Studio B Peak

Description: Play is necessary. Play is helpful. Play is what stimulates and supports our development through ALL stages of life. Despite the power play has on our mind, body, and spirit, research shows that play is on the decline, particularly with adolescents and adults who play only about 2% of the time despite its positive impact on our WHOLE well-being. Throughout this workshop series, we will reconnect with our childlike joy through the art of play using the Five Elements of Mindfulness and Play Personalities as a guide. More specifically, we will:

● Discover the impact play has on our wellness, learning, creativity, adaptability, and

resilience

● Identify greater ways to implement play intentionally within our everyday lives

● Reconnect with the joy and freedom that play creates for ourselves and others!

With greater connection to play, we will reconnect with our own inner happiness and walk away

with concrete ways of implementing play to support our WHOLENESS, helping us to feel more

connected, empowered and capable of living a fully inspired life!

Note: This course is meant for individuals over 16 years of age.

Date: Wednesday, June 14, 28, July 12, 26

Time: 6:30-8:00

Cost: Series is $80, Each Individual Workshop is $20
