Myth, Mind & Movement.
Be the Author of Your Own Story!

Myths come from our cultural depths. They let us travel to far-off lands, become a superhero, go on fantastical adventures and dive into the world of imagination.

All Home School 5th-10th grade students are invited to this FREE Myth & Arts Exploration Program at Peak Academy of Dance. Each Tuesday from 9:00-3:00, for 34 weeks, starting Tuesday, September 6th, students will dive into the myths.

They will start by exploring the mythic stories, amazing heroes, and fantastical lands from past cultures. Then they will learn to identify the reemergence of these themes in our present cultures; films, dance, music, theater, visual arts, literature, comics, environment, and imagination.

If students can recognize the stories and characters that are populating their world, it becomes easier for them to make choices to either stay in that story or create a new story.

There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, August 30th at 7:00 p.m. at Peak Academy of Dance (26437 Conifer Road, Conifer CO 80433) Please let Danielle Heller know if you will be attending by email or phone. at danielle@peak-education.com or 303-518-2974

Note: This program is a collaboration between Peak Educational Services and Renaissance Innovation Academy.
