Let’s give our students the support they need!

MAP Group

Students have been presented with a completely new learning environment requiring a fundamentally different educational approach for them to succeed.

Traditionally, students complete the majority of schooling in-person in direct contact with their peers and teachers. This direct contact creates a concrete set of deadlines and expectations. It also helps them to formulate next steps for college and career. In short, these direct communications and expectations help to move the student forward down their path.

Right now students are faced with a hybrid or fully online learning environment in which much of their learning happens in isolation. Students who haven’t developed skills such as goal setting, task management, resilience and self-advocacy, or, are lacking the mentorship and guidance to turn their passions into a career pathway are left feeling stranded, unprepared and without support.

MAP Group is here to support students by helping them to develop these skills and engage their passion while also providing parents with the resources they need to understand and support their children’s learning needs. Our groups are limited to six students and their parents. Groups meet virtually twice weekly.
